A delicious classic...here's the perfect Spaghetti Bolognese recipe!

Pasta of your choice
2 tbsp Olive oil
300 g Fresh tomatoes (chopped)
1 Onion (finely chopped)
Tin of chopped tomatoes
2 Carrots (grated)
1 Pepper (finely sliced)
625 g Steak mince
600 ml Beef stock
2 tbsp Plain flour
2 tbsp Tomato puree

In a large frying pan, heat 1 tbsp of oil (for a healthier alternative - use fry light).

Add in onion, carrot and pepper and stir until soft.

Remove veg from pan and set aside.

Add mince to pan, cooking on a high heat until browned all over.

Then, add veg back into the pan with the flour and stir.

Add tomato puree to the beef stock and stir.

Add this mixture into the pan with the mince, along with chopped and fresh tomatoes.

Bring to the boil, reduce the heat, cover, and allow to simmer for around 20 mins, stirring occasionally.

Serve with your favourite pasta and cheese if you like!
