World Baking Day calls for a Giant Cookie recipe perfect to make for the whole family to enjoy. You can customise this to your families favourite toppings like marshmallows, more chocolate, nuts, or fudge. You can find all the ingredients in your local Nearby store!

Cookie Ingredients
 200 g Butter
 250 g Brown Sugar
 2 Eggs
 250 g Flour
 1 tsp Baking Powder
 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
Toppings (100g)
 Chopped Nuts
 Chocolate
 Fudge Pieces
 Marshmallow
 Toffee Sauce
 Ice Cream

Heat oven to 180C

Mix the butter and sugar into a bowl, beat until combined, then stir in the eggs and vanilla. Then you will want to add in the flour, baking powder, chocolate chips, a pinch of salt and any other fillings you want to add.

Mix with your hands until it forms a crumbly dough and leave to rest for 10 mins.

Lightly butter a 25cm ovenproof frying pan/skillet

Spoon in the cookie mixture until it is even around the bottom of the pan.

Want it gooey? Bake for 20 mins, leave to rest for 5 mins, then scoop straight from the pan and serve with ice cream and all your other toppings.

Want it firm? bake for further 5 minutes, leave the cookie in its container to cool completely before cutting it.
